A Shorts 360 operated by Skyway Airways crashed offshore on October 29 shortly after takeoff from Princess Juliana International Airport on the island of Saint Maarten. Only the body of one pilot has been recovered so far. The Saint Maarten Civil Aviation Authority is conducting the investigation with assistance from the National Transportation Safety Board and the UK’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
