To combat the spread of Ebola, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency (CBP) has mandated that all flights to the U.S. carrying people who have recently traveled to, from or through the disease-stricken West African countries of Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone must first land at one of five designated entry points, which are now implementing enhanced screening protocols. The five major airports are New York John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International, Washington Dulles International, Chicago O’Hare International and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International. According to the CBP, the restrictions will remain in place until further notice.
