Fifteen of the 21 people aboard an Agni-Air Dornier 228 died when the 19-seat turboprop twin struck the side of a mountain near Nepal's Jomsom Airport (VNJS) in the Himalayas on May 14. According to news reports, the pilot reported a flashing warning light in the cockpit and was diverting back to Pokhara Airport (VNPK), also in Nepal.
