Dallas-based Global Jet Shares, a fractional and jet membership card provider specializing in large-cabin business aircraft, named Mark Ozenick as its COO, with responsibilities for day-to-day operations and marketing and sales for the company. Ozenick founded HeliFlite Shares, a helicopter fractional-ownership company.

Burnaby, Canada-based International Water Guard Industries announced the appointments of David Fox as president and CEO; John Lawson, former president of Bombardier Business Aircraft sales, as chairman of the board; and Bruce Gowan as board member. Outgoing president Bill Coote will continue to work with the company as an advisor and board member.

David Ford is the new president and COO of West Chester, Pa.-based Keystone Helicopter. Ford joined the company in 1996 and held the position of v-p and general manager of helicopter services promotion until his appointment as senior v-p of technical services last October.

John Enticknap was promoted to president and CEO of Mercury Air Centers. Enticknap was most recently v-p and COO. The company also announced other personnel appointments, including Karl Van Der Linden, v-p of finance; Bob Wernersbach, v-p of operations; David Moore, general counsel; Kevin Richardson, director of human resources; Dan Maddox, director of safety and risk management; and Steve Bowlin, director of marketing and sales.

Dewitt, N.Y.-based Sensis announced the promotion of Anthony Albanese to COO of its air traffic systems division. He most recently served in the air traffic systems division as program manager for the Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model-X program, an FAA program that provides airport surface surveillance and aircraft identification to air traffic controllers.

Messier-Dowty has appointed group vice presidents for the company’s Airbus, Boeing and military business units. Joel Berkoukchi is heading the company’s Airbus business unit, and Grant Skinner is heading the Boeing and military business units.

West Chicago, Ill.-based J.A. Air Center, announced the promotion of Brad Zeman to president. He succeeds company owner Bernie Klotz. Zeman, who started at the company in 1986 as a sales manager, was most recently v-p of sales.

Stephen Wilson was appointed senior v-p and general manager of Jet Aviation’s U.S. charter services. Wilson most recently was v-p of sales for the now defunct Avolar, which was a fractional aircraft subsidiary of United Airlines.

Thales announced that Mark Barclay joined the newly created Avionics Services Worldwide business line of Thales’ avionics division as managing director. He is based in Toulouse, France. Barclay was previously CEO of Thales Telecom Services.

Juliette Serrurier was named charter sales manager for the UK and Ireland for ExecuJet, with responsibilities for customer-relationship management and development. ExecuJet has five charter aircraft operating in the UK as part of the company’s European fleet.

Jeffrey Magnus was named general manager for Signature Flight Support’s Palm Springs International Airport facility. Magnus was previously the largest shareholder and president of Magnus Aviation, a Wisconsin-based company that owned and operated two full-service FBOs. Magnus Aviation was sold in 2002.

Norwell, Mass.-based Sentient Jet, a provider of private jet membership, named Jill Kremins as v-p of marketing. She was most recently senior v-p of wealth-segment strategy at Fleet Boston Financial, where she developed and implemented strategies to expand distribution of products and services.

Cessna Aircraft named Susan Ronshagen as its new business information officer, with responsibilities for all information technology supporting the company’s business, manufacturing and engineering needs. She most recently served as enterprise resource-planning program director and director and CIO for Honeywell’s aftermarket services and hardware product group.

Douglas Carr was named corporate secretary of NBAA’s board of directors. Carr has been the association’s director of government affairs since February 2001.

Duncan Aviation promoted Scott Shefke to Challenger technical representative. Shefke has been employed by Duncan since 1991 and most recently held the position of Challenger airframe team leader.

Novato, Calif.-based Sunset Aviation, an aircraft charter and management firm, announced the addition of William Burton as director of safety and standards. Burton was most recently director of field operations for Sentient Jet, where he was responsible for managing a national network of Part 135 charter operators.

Bombardier Aerospace named Humberto Moas as its sales director for South America, with responsibility for all Learjet, Challenger and Global Express new and pre-owned sales. Moas was previously sales director for Latin America for Bombardier’s pre-owned business aircraft group.

Jetcraft, a buyer, seller, broker and trader of executive aircraft throughout the world, opened a new sales office in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. John Ames, president of the company, is heading the new office.

Cincinnati-based Delta AirElite Business Jets recently announced two personnel appointments at its corporate headquarters at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Cameron Gowans was promoted to v-p of sales and marketing, with responsibilities for overseeing the company’s sales and marketing activities. He had been director of sales and marketing since February 2003. Brandon Greene was promoted to director of marketing.

Raytheon Aircraft named Homero de Souza as a technical representative based in Horizonte, Brazil, to bolster its support presence.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority announced that David Chapman was appointed head of its safety regulation group’s operating standards division. He was previously head of the authority’s flight operations department.

Wichita-based Mid-Continent Instruments announced the promotion of Bobby Phillips to customer-service representative in the avionics department. His responsibilities include customer quotes and troubleshooting. He previously worked in Mid-Continent’s shipping department.

James Cox is the new director of operations at DB Aviation, a private aircraft charter, management and FBO services company located in Waukegan, Ill.

Montreal Jet Center, a corporate aircraft maintenance and refurbishing center that opened in December, named John Moyn as v-p of sales and marketing and Louis Deveault as v-p of aircraft maintenance.

Gulfstream Aerospace has designated Alberto D’Jesus as a field representative for Latin America. D’Jesus is based at the Varig engineering and maintenance facility at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, and is serving as a liaison among aircraft operators, Varig and Gulfstream.

The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance elected Don Canova to its board of directors. Canova is a heavy maintenance manager at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta.

Nav Canada has announced the appointment of Sandy Morrison as chairman of the board. Morrison replaces Louis Comeau, who stepped down after having served the company as chairman since 1997. The new directors for Nav Canada’s board are Nicholas Greer, Denis Losier and Roy Rideout.

Aurora, Colo.-based Avtrak announced the addition of Chuck Parker to its sales staff as regional manager and Roger Toeppen as the section leader responsible for data quality and customer satisfaction. Parker’s career has included v-p of sales and business development at Precise Flight; director of sales at Aircraft Technical Publishers; and regional sales manager for Cessna Finance. Toeppen was most recently manager of Bombardier’s CIMMS maintenance tracking program in Wichita.

James Gillborn is the new business manager at Falcon Jet Center in the UK. Based at Farnborough, Gillborn is responsible for expanding Falcon Jet Center’s charter and aircraft management business.

Scott Ricketts joined Signature Plating as clear coat and durability specialist.

James “Jim” Zarvos joined Dallas Airmotive as director of customer service.
