The two buildings that house the offices of the FAA in Washington have been named after the Wright brothers.

The two buildings that house the offices of the FAA in Washington have been named after the Wright brothers. The structures are situated along Independence Avenue, separated from each other by 7th Street.

Earlier this year Congress approved and President Bush signed legislation renaming the FAA’s federal building 10-A at 800 Independence Ave., SW, the Orville Wright Federal Building, and federal building 10-B at 600 Independence Ave., SW, the Wilbur Wright Federal Building.
